even if the fish's roomate's birthday is june 19th, i would have changed it to something else for the fish in a quest to avoid the obvious comparison to gura. A mermaid is a good design concept, there is a lot of fun to be had with it, and her design is good. But I would have tried to keep any comparison with gura away from people's minds. make her favorite color pink, or green (it's blue just like gura), make her busty and adult not flat, i mean there are ways to go with the fish concept without drawing comparisons with gura.
as for her personality, she's got to settle on something more "real", right now she sounds really fake and somehow really dull while being obnoxious at the same time (which is bizarre), there is nothing wrong with being obnoxious. Kiara and Pekora make a career out of being obnoxious. But if you're going to be obnoxious you have to be entertaining. Pekora cracks me up all the time, Kiara does something for the kfp bros (no clue what, she drives me nuts), the fish puts me to sleep... irritated. Somehow she needs to find a way to be genuine so that people can connect with her be it dull or obnoxious, she's easily the fakest of the group, which is saying a lot since the fairy is fake incarnate. Ina found a way to be genuine, and while she's dull, she's also found a way to be endearing and cute in her sleepy way. Pekora found a way to make obnoxious hilarious. If the fish wants to make it she needs to figure out what she is... dull or obnoxious, and then figure out how how to do what ina and pekora have done.
