How do you deal with an oshi that streams in a timezone that doesn't let you watch live?

Move back in with your parents so that you don't have to work or pay rent, make sure you always catch her streams, If you have to sleep make sure to set alarms throughout the night to check if she's gone live. watching vods aren't the same as you cant talk to her but If you miss a stream it's necessary.

EU as in actual EU gets fucked over by the "EN" members the most, Gura's live is at fucking 3am.
JP funnily enough are more suited to EU depending on your work hours.

I never watch VOD's unless it's my oshi, Nothing can be live streaming.

EU is only like 9 hours behind JP so that like 5pm for them is 7-9am EU.
I think it's the US > JP that gets fucked, or EU > US since 5pm CST is 11pm-1am EU

JP vods are great. You can pause the video and take your time to understand what was said by the chuuba and chat. You can even make soundposts of nice moments. The only depressing thing is seeing the chuuba shill cool merch that's no longer available

If I know the streaming time is always at impossible hour for me, I just won't bother getting to know the streamer. I miss out a lot of gems I bet, but appeal of watching chubas is that they're live, I think. Some sort of human company because otherwise it's quiet. Watching vods only makes me feel lonelier.

working alternating shifts i can catch either JP or US live and watch VOD for the other depending on the shift. having an abysmal sleep schedule helps aswell.

Through VODs, I don't think so. If my oshi swapped to another timezone, I'd find a way to catch catch the streams live or if that doesn't work, I'd be watching the VODs, but finding a new oshi by watching a VOD, it's close to impossible.

the only thing i miss out on by watching VODs is live chat/watching with the thread and those rarely add value to it. also by watching VODs i don't have to worry about missing anything as i can pause and i can watch at higher speeds meaning i get more time to watch streams
