If you dont know, canadian health care is super slow for surgeries. Thats literally one of the reasons they do the assisted suicide thing. No joke. They rather kill you so they dont have to spent time or money to help you. Im surprised she didnt take up the offer. Its very economical afterall

Depending on the day and the time the surgery is, it happens. If there's a more urgent surgery needed on someone else and there's literately no other times, you can get your surgery postponed and there's nothing you can do about it. That's why you should never have it scheduled for a Thursday or Friday

She showed up for the surgery and the doctor's postponed it after seeing it was more serious than they thought. This was yesterday. All we know is that its rescheduled till next week. That could be monday. At most you'd get one more stream out of her if she decided to go, and maybe, just maybe, she wasn't in the right frame of mind to entertain thousands after finding out her surgery is more serious than she thought it would be.
