If my threadreading is correct. They're only offering 20% of the shares on the public market. Buying them all would give you significant influence (Bill Gates and Elon Musk only have 10% of their companies.) but you wouldn't be able to be a Zuckerburg 51% dictator.

Also you can give shares different "classes" that give them different tiers of voting rights (or lack thereof) in the company decisionmaking. That's how The Zucc managed to dip below 50% of Facebook and still have something like 80% of the voting rights.

I'm betting on the fad not sustaining itself and the company downsizing too. They might seem on an upward curve now but if they make 1M in profits next year investors are going to ask for 2M and anything slightly below that will be considered a massive failure and time to quit.
