Aloe got mindbroken by haters and just wanted to get away from it all (also kusodad), Rushia was terminated and still hasn't recovered from the shock, Kira had health problems and couldn't stream, and Kaoru had some emergency come up right when he was starting to grow (probably death of a family member).
Cover being as big as they are, would have no problems adjusting the individual branding for any talent should they wish to change.
And no holo has the "grass is greener" problem either, because Hololive is the best corpo, and going indie already has two examples of failure that they can see.
