At the same time the troons will also make social media campaigns rallying to get EN and their merchandise cancelled, which even if it isn't successful they have enough journoblogsite ties to get it trending throughout English-speaking internet and will constantly bring it up in the future until the "guilty party" is erased from the internet for good.
As was proven many times in the past, troons lash out in full force at any perceived slight and will never stop. Even apologizing to troons won't do anything, it'll only cause them to double down even harder in their witch hunting efforts (hell just look at the content in the game, Hogwarts bends over backwards so hard to appease these people and they still went full schizo when it came out), so Hololive is definitely not going to try to tempt fate here and let EN play at all.
Language barrier is literally the only thing keeping JP insulated from any of this bullshit, trannies are so low effort and 100% EOP that they won't stand a chance against japanese simps who are dead set on keeping their vtubers safe.
