Takanashi Kiara was walking through the corridors of Hololive Academy when she spotted Anya Melfissa sitting alone in the courtyard. She had noticed that Anya had been spending a lot of time with Petra Gurin lately, and Kiara couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. She had always found Anya to be incredibly cute, and she didn't like the idea of her spending all her time with someone else.
Kiara approached Anya and sat down next to her. "Hey, what are you up to?" she asked, trying to keep her voice casual.
Anya looked up at her and smiled. "Oh, just taking a break. Petra's in class right now, so I thought I'd enjoy the sun for a bit."
Kiara nodded, trying to ignore the way her heart was pounding in her chest. She had to do something to win Anya's attention back. "Do you want to hang out with me instead?" she asked.
Anya hesitated for a moment, looking conflicted. "I don't know, Kiara. Petra's been really nice to me lately, and I don't want to hurt her feelings."
Kiara felt a surge of frustration. Why couldn't Anya see that she was the one who really cared about her? "Come on, it'll be fun," she cajoled. "We could go get some ice cream or something."
Anya looked down at her lap, biting her lip. "I don't know if that's a good idea."
Kiara reached out and gently took Anya's hand. "Please, Anya. I really want to spend some time with you."
Anya looked up at her, and Kiara could see the conflict in her eyes. But then she saw something else too - a flicker of interest that made her heart skip a beat.
"Okay," Anya said finally. "Let's go get some ice cream."
As they walked to the ice cream shop, Kiara kept her hand in Anya's. She could feel her pulse racing, wondering if this was her chance to make her move. When they got to the shop, she bought two cones and led Anya to a nearby bench.
They sat down next to each other, and Kiara leaned in close. "Anya, there's something I need to tell you," she whispered.
Anya looked at her, her eyes wide. "What is it?"
Kiara took a deep breath. "I really like you, Anya. I've liked you for a long time, and I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore."
Anya's mouth dropped open. "Kiara, I...I had no idea."
Kiara reached up and brushed a strand of hair out of Anya's face. "I know you've been spending a lot of time with Petra, but I just want you to know that I care about you too. And if you ever want to be more than friends, I'm here."
Anya looked down at her lap, clearly conflicted. "I don't know what to say, Kiara. I do like you, but I don't want to hurt Petra."
Kiara felt a surge of frustration. "Why does Petra have to come between us? Can't we just be together?"
Anya looked up at her, her eyes shining. "I don't know, Kiara. But I do know that I'm really attracted to you. Maybe we can just take things slow and see where they go."
Kiara's heart leapt with joy. "Yes, let's do that."
They finished their ice cream, and Kiara walked Anya back to her class.
