I think Mori is actually very good when she sticks to slower balads. Which has basically made me hate 90% of her stuff in the past year. Shit sucks man.

I don't get the hateboner for Mori. Every time the reasoning is "WELL UHHH 3DPD COLLABS MUH RM" or "RAP IS LE BAD, IT JUST IS OKAY", and not actual criticisms of her work. Meanwhile she's been grinding over the years and many of the complaints people used to have just aren't even relevant any more. Being unable to separate the art from the artist only makes you a snowflake.

I do wish that less of Mori's appearances on songs were [quick rap verse that feels abrupt and out of place] like if the song already had that feel, and a Mori verse adds to it, cool. If Mori got to sing a little more in a song and match the main vocalist, nice. More people are realizing she's not just a one trick vocalist.

Agreed, I really don’t like her debut song and I most of her songs
But the slower ones sound okay and one I ended up really liking
Plus journey like a thousand years is one of the hololive songs I actually like as music
