>>43750913The fast food theme is maybe unappealing to americans, but it makes sense considering former talents. Korone's base lore is that she's a dog deity who's running a bakery, her name is just a reference to a pastry. Obviously she had it easier since the bakery part is not explicitly referenced in the character design, but the "powerful being in a mundane work environment" is a timeless trope.
Kiara's problem is that she has three lore prompts she (and huke) had to work with, and you can only have two working together from them.
>fire-breathing phoenix who runs a chicken fast food restaruant (the theme Kiara mostly goes with)>the immortal warrior who abuses her eternal life and battles recklessly>a war veteran who just wants to live a quiet life (possible isekai angle)All of them are acceptable prompts, but combining them together just makes everyone confused.
The second problem is that it's not just any fighter, Kiara was given cheap plastic tokusatsu toys for equipment over something like a flamberge which also added to the confusion and gave tokusatsu fans false hope just to be disappointed on debut.
