On the other hand, if you say elites are specifically raping kids in a specific DC pizza parlor, that’s a lot more suspect because it would involve hundreds of people keeping quiet about a local event that the state/media apparatus cannot suppress once the leaks start.
Likewise 9/11 being demolition charges, or being done for insurance, or whatever, makes little sense compared to say, assuming the US and Israeli governments knew Saudi elements were gearing up for 9/11 and let it happen - again, no big secrets were kept, but the media dogpiled anybody who pointed out the correlations and made sure to put them out of a job.
Differentiating between ineffective ‘conspiracy theories’ and actual conspiracies is a very important skill to have, because promoting whacky, transparently stupid ‘theories’ are a tried and true intelligence agency method to discredit the opposition and paint them as lunatics in the media.
