>>43868930Let's be real: none of them joined for any other reason. Some are just more blatant and obvious about it, others still play the whole "I totally love streaming :)" card but it's usually to convince themselves to re-sign that contract. There was a point where Gura discovered her image was so astronomically big for the company and for the EN side of things, that she can literally just not stream. She's not even the only one that does that, other holos do it too and they're not as big as her. Cover just doesn't fire them or issues any warnings because Gura makes them money even when she doesn't stream. Her merch sells instantly, people tune in to everything she does because it's such a rarity to catch her livestreaming and when she comes back she gets showered in fucktons of money and memberships.
So why would she give a shit about being a stream monster? She can treat it super casually and just fuck off to enjoy her money and spend time with IRL friends or her real online friends or whatever and when she feels like it, she can come back and get a cash injection for literally just pressing the stream button in OBS. Push button, act cute for at least one hour, leave, enjoy your damn near endless free time, repeat. Her hustle is second to none, she became the best and now she's exploiting it for her benefit.
