I know that she had some family / mental issues, but she had those even before she got in. Lap and Sana both had different issues but with the same end result of not streaming or barely streaming.
If hololive spammed gens like Niji, maybe this wouldnt be a problem, but holo usually waits a year (sometimes more) between launching gens, and when you launch a new gen and then 2 out of 5 girls barely end up streaming, then that is a problem and it hurts the company.
Like other anons already said, they invested so much into La+ and she just fucked off to play valo on another account. I remember her excuses at the start. At first it was a bad internet and then a bad PC or whatever so she suggested making pre-recorded content and asked us are we ok with it. People agreed to that as a short term solution, and how long did that last? Yeah... She just turned out to be full of shit on every level.
Anyways, you are being given a golden ticket, and you wipe your ass with it, and it seems that there are no consequences for it.
