But to answer your question. Anime culture is still a pretty unpopular thing here. Other european countries such as France, Germany and english speaking nations like the US, Australia have an anime culture that is rapidly becoming more main stream and accepted among the youth and young parents. While as in the UK it's not growing as fast. Normie culture is rampant, FIFA and CoD are still all kids want to play, most women here don't have the slightest bit of interest in anything anime related (again, they're zapped up to their eyeballs into being normalfags). And perhaps the most important at all; any mention of liking anime or vtubers is still seen as a taboo and you're basically viewed as a pedophile.
This even why some of the brit vtubers put on american accents when they stream. Because they don't want to be associated with how it's all perceived here. Some say it's gotten better recently and of course it's improved a little. But we're still way behind other countries in such things.
