Subaru genuinely never uses her default. Flare hated her default so much it got redesigned.
It's incredibly rare to see Aqua and Shion use their default, but it's incredibly rare to see them stream at all.
I don't think Towa hates her default, but it's very obvious she loves her outfits significantly more.
This is just an observation, but I've yet to see Botan use her default ever since she got her casual outfit. I think it's the same case as Towa. Probably likes her default, but the casual outfit is too cute not to always use.
