Didn't the original Japanese announcement say something along the lines instead that it was a sudden notice by Pikamee, and not really something that was planned prior? I think this is all just trying to push away blame away from the troon community, cause even this has been embedded within the culture war shit now with one side being like "people are going to use this to shit on the trans community" or people unironically thinking this was a win for them, while the other side is rightfully angry that she is leaving because she got harassed to the point of quitting over a fucking video game.
