I like to think of it moreso as a barometer: if Fauna is considered bad/low tier, that means everyone else is doing great. If Fauna is considered top tier, that means the entire field is garbage and we need something new (such as Fauna's unseiso Scottish version suddenly getting so much attention, which is certainly a welcome change). Quite frankly, there is no good EN GFE/ASMR these days, so we either deal with the mediocrity we have in EN or go back to being JP refugees as EOPs.
