After Kiara moved back to Austria Mori started basically ghosting her which made Kiara realize Mori doesn't actually like her all that much. This was compounded with them officially killing off Takamori as a ship.

I guess Kiara genuinely moving on and finding other friends somehow made Mori sperg the fuck out though, and try to "get Kiara back" with fake niceties and trying to force an Austria visit on her. This is why she behaves like a brown-nosing suck-up to Kiara now, it's like she's overcompensating trying to make up for the time she was an absolute cunt to her.
For a while Kiara was still stone-walling her trying to keep her distance emotionally but eventually I guess she let her guard down. Now they are pretty good friends.
