I have to imagine oversaturating the market isn't exactly helpful for the newest gens. Maybe I'm an outlier but I'm very comfortable with the handful of vtubers I watch outside of clips, I can't really devote more time to newer talents unless they really stand out. Nothing against Aia and Doppio is too into the chuuni bit for my taste, but there's so much content out there and not enough time.

Was it not a debut joke that was basically a class synopsis for any current politics class
It’s a few things that filter people
Some people don’t like her voice/attitude
Pushed a ship really hard with Scarle that didn’t go anywhere and wasn’t very popular
Scarle is cute because she’s bulliable and Aia was supposed to be this sadistic Angel type but it just wasn’t clicking
When it came to the iluna girls there wasn’t much of an interest for a character that sat in the middle between “cute incompetence” and “cute confident gamer weeb”

I get why people view it as a ship and all but it’s more that she only feels comfortable with Scarle doing these things. If people actually watched Aia they’d see her biggest mistakes were the bullying because she has no tact which is probably due because of her lack of social awareness, has some confidence issues that make her second guess every thing she does, at the start of Illuna she only talked about wanting to do things and being scared of people not liking it and leaving instead of trying it out. Now she’s pretty much the artistic people in Nijien, the biggest problem with Illuna as a whole was overhype and not knowing what to do as their content. And the “lgbt” shit was a joke, she’s openly pan but really doesn’t like to talk about her person life.
