>>44611781You see, that's the genius of vtubing. Once you get out of school and get a job you won't have time or energy for anything else except the job - rest - job routine. This is where vtubers come in. You'll watch vtubers when you aren't working and you'll be happy. By the time you get to that point you'll exhaust any and all possibilities of fiction, be it games, anime, manga, or music (music is the first to go), and you'll seek live entertainment. Your job will make it impossible to meet new people, go out or do basically anything else except flop down on your bed or comfy chair and watch chuuba's entertain you. You will simply be too tired, too exhausted and fundamentally disinterested in anyone or anything. This is impossible to explain to younger people, but essentially every interest you've had and consider the focus of your life and an extension of your personality will become utterly, irrevocably exhausted. It will mean nothing. For me personally this ranged from common stuff like anime to serious stuff like literature, history, the occult and so on. No matter your interest, after 30 it all becomes meaningless. You just keep up appearances as being interested in "your thing" to seem like a person, but it's all just acting (other adults know you're acting and you know they are acting, it's just a form of courtesy to pretend we don't).
The alternative to this is to become an alcoholic or a junkie, and then gracelessly expire in a ditch.
