There's no "think" about it, that's a fact. Even outside of the big businesses there are a ton of streamers switching over to representing themselves with an animated avatar of some kind.

What gets me is this isn't new technology. People were doing this shit years before Holo was even a concept and people just sort of looked at is at a joke. Notice how Hololive kept quality over quantity, had a lower release rate and maintained a unique brand that remained strong and it actually paid off.
Nijisanji went the pre-console crash gaming industry route of accelerationism while Hololive took the Nintendo route.
