3.) Dyatlov is cast as a psychopathic villain to give the beginning more punch. It's true that Dyatlov was not qualified to run the plant he was running. It's also true that he was a known bully and browbeat and belittled his subordinates. But he did not irrationally ignore the disaster, and he did his best to contribute to understanding and tackling it. He maintained until his death that the plant's design was defective (which it was).
1 and 2 are forgivable, but 3 goes a little far and is in quite bad taste. If you're going to present yourself as a mostly-faithful historical drama, just outright lying about major figures involved is in bad taste.
