>>4509452The Japanese LDP has been the only party in Japan since 1955. Except for 6 terms, they've ruled completely unimpeded. In fact from '55 to '91, Japan was pretty much a one party state, the other parties were just there as a foil in congress meetings.
The LDP is nominally conservative big tent block of factions ranging from very center right wing to softcore nationalists. They tend to argue a lot about policies but the one thing they have in common is not being "like the imperial right wing".
The right-er right wing, what would be the alt-right in the west, genuine nationalist nativists, anti-tourism isolationists (you may have seen waito piggu go home) and anti-korean, anti-chinese, anti-american japanese exceptionalists, have zero representation and will never get it. This pushes a lot of people to even more extreme ideas until you get very japanese stormfront types on the youtube comment section, and a growing membership on the Japanese *actual* nazi party.
What to do with the koreans is a question of debate within the far right. The most accepted view is to just repeal the "special citizenship" status the korean-japanese have (only the descendants of koreans during the japanese occupation of korea) and either force them to get a visa through the usual way or deport them.
Other ideas are to deport them, to tally how much welfare they've 'stolen'* and put them into intensive labor to pay it back, or invading korea again.
* Zainichi koreans apparently steal welfare. They form communes, using fake japanese names, passports of koreans that arent even in japan, and even collect welfare for deceased members of the family. They have LINE groups to pass tips about how to better steal welfare and they pretend to be poor to steal even more. Or so they say.
