>>44943695Maybe? The issue with this question is that people can discuss the same thing on various sites, and they are for different audiences.
Twitter has terrible moderation and a personalized algorithm, so as a larger platform with many users outside the VTuber Sphere or even just the individual Corpo/Indie groups, you have many retards and tourists chime in with either surface level knowledge, misinformation or just virtue signalling to boost exposure instead of having any actual discussion. You cannot stop the shit-flinging. There is pressure to not post honestly, and most don't watch streams anyway.
The relative seclusion of Subreddits and Discords are much better because they inherently contain people already familiar with the community that can prevent this from happening and most posts can be seen to give a clearer perspective of these discussions like in channels or threads especially with good moderaton, but can become echo chambers. Despite this, they are the center of most big community projects but also raids.
4chan has some of the best and worst of the above sites. Some shared advantages include decent moderation, ease of discussion in threads, and the lack of a popularity system. Most general posters are sane, so you can immediately ignore the very obvious baitthreads you see in catalog. The anonymity allows anyone including talents to post ignoring things like public image, and geenral culture is such that you don't worry much about stepping on someone else's toes and offending them. Also the origin of many good memes, as well as the fastest way to be up to date. Ignore the rrats.
