>>44961038this, I'm laughing so hard seeing codemonkey act smug while their job is more prone to be replaced by fucking AIs than Artist/Construction Worker.
In Artist and Designer case, sure enough AI can speed their workflow or dish out art faster but one thing AI can't replace is capability to thinking or seek inspiration which 99% artist and designer did. AI will just scramble a prompt to create design but their flaw is they couldn't ''processing'' information from human imagination/inspiration/vision, which is much more COMPLEX than coding/calculation. and most artistic field job always involving on personal thinking, understanding human thought/needs and to do that you need to be able to empathize with human, which AI cant.
Hell, when you want to design a product that's functional and catered to what your audience needs, every artist needs to be critical thinker, problem solver, and capable of analyzing the audience on top with client feedback. that's too much information to process for AI which will require a hell a lot of money to develop such processor and require a long year of fucking research and training. even if in future they can do that they will not be used to create and generate art/design/entertainment but instead in more serious task like government glowie job and help researcher.
