People act like superchats mean anything when most people on youtube don't useit , even the big youtubers, we've had times where people go months without videos either by break or playing games they can't monetize over and there doesn't seem to be any noticable desperation to get more superchats by just streaming longer and reading all superchats. Then you've got both Nijisanji and Hololive proving that streaming income is a much smaller cut of where their money comes from. If superchats are as important as people think on here, you'd be able to see a noticable change in before to support it but you don't so it can't be worh it once you actually factor youtube and Cover's cut of the money.
