I've watched too many people trounce around the first region and then never pick up the game again. I value the few people who actually keep up to date with the events, and I don't think there are any EN who does that.

I think Genchinks care more about the characters than the streamers. They are almost a non-factor when it's being streamed.

Boring, even as a genshit player, myself. There's nothing stream-worthy about the game. What would the streamer do? React to the story that I've already gone through? Explore the world? Farm the domains? Kill the weekly bosses? None of these is exciting.

I don't have strong feelings either way. I watched some clips of Ars playing Genshin and felt entertained, but I don't feel thrilled to watch others play it. Certainly wouldn't drop a VTuber if they did, though.

If it works then good for them, but Genshin isn't really an interesting game to watch, especially when you've gotten through the story stuff and are just doing dailies.
I guess the gambling addicts probably enjoy watching the rolls.

If they're playing for the first time, then it's no different to when they play any other games. If they're just farming the same shit for 4 hours, 36 starring, pulling, or 100 percenting, then it's a shit stream

there are only 3 ways to make a good genshin stream:
_improv and be creative with the mechanic, the environment and the enemies but there are barely vtuber who understand the game enough to do it
_comfy free chat while exploring
_go balls deep into the lore and make schizo theories
