Young women probably do find you physically attractive but aren't going to tell you or anyone else unless they're fucking wasted out of fear of social emabrassment - to most young women, the general opinion others have of them is more important than pretty much anything else. Older women are wiser and filled with more regrets and, if they're single, far less shame, and will just be honest. They think you wouldn't want to fuck an old crone like them, so they don't mind teasing you a bit - hormonally, they probably can't help it.
