A more extreme example would be Gura saying what Mori is saying with near 0 JP/ID collabs under her belt, despite them being older/much bigger than her own branch. The question is a meme, but you could literally ask at this point, “why would you even join Hololive if you 1. Barely interact with Hololive/force yourself to, and 2. Want to mostly collab with fags outside of Hololive”. You could honestly say “you should’ve just been an indie” from how the situation is being portrayed. At least Kiara said her outside collabs will be few and if she does do them they’ll be a while apart. Let Mori have her way, she’ll be with random twitch e-celebs and indies weekly. Way more than actual Holomembers, which again begs that question.
And honestly, ecelebs aren’t bad if you don’t care about doxxshit constantly being asked about her or her getting dragged into random retarded twitch drama (the biggest most recently being Adin and Ludwig with his people, literally 6 huge streamers dogpilling and shitting on one for literally for no reason). Being associated with E-celebs brings in unnecessary drama, even if you’re completely neutral and try to avoid it all (aka Adin in my example). And sure Mori might not care or her fans, but she’s a part of a larger company, and it’ll most definitely leak over into other fanbases and have corporate repercussions.
