>>4549829>she seems to have good Japanese comprehension, but that's the only positive.>Coco: "You don't have any idea what I'm saying, haven't you?">Mori: "uh huh.... naroo hodo nay..."I'm just ribbing, but yeah, I don't see how I would call her comprehension ability any better than her expression ability, both are babby level and if you speak to her in anything more than especially slooow, directed and dumbed down retard japanese, you get the deer-in-headlights response where she reaches for her 2-3 canned stock phrases.
>>4549926>The fact that she has to hide them is the sus part.This. I suspect this is one of the consequences of her observing the Kiara-Veibae fallout (par for the course of Mori to take the wrong lessons from things). A controversial guest was announced "too soon", which gave people enough time to build up the shitstorm, which in the end reached a large enough critical mass to impact the collab.
The "right" lesson to take from this would probably be, hey we should probably vet our partners better and just not collab if they have too much controversial baggage, but "lol just hide the announcment" looks like the lesson learned is instead rather "but I wanna collab with them anyway, fuck what the people think, I know, I just not give them enough time to complain and spring it on them as a surprise" (or, how does the saying go, it's better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission?).
Here's the thing, if you hide the collab, people will think something is up and doompost about it. Probably unnecessarily doompost, but yeh, for what else reason would you even hide it otherwise in the first place, unless you think the partner is someone controversial (and if you really think they are, should you collab with them in the first place?). No one would complain if Mori's mystery collab would be someone from her extended universe indie friends, and there's no harm from announcing it early.
I could understand if it's Ironmouse, and Mori got the impression from the Veibae shitshow that the fanbase at large doesn't like Vshojo in general (whereas, personal tastes notwithstanding, what made Veibae blow up was that she attacked Hololive directly, meanwhile Mousey is probably one of, if not the, most liked out of their bunch, for what it's worth), so she could've come to the conclusion as an onlooker that she has to hide it until the last minute in order to not be the next unnecessary blowup. I think that's wrong, but I can at least understand how she'd come to that wrong conclusion.
Or she doesn't want a repeat of the TT timeloop, remember how it came out because weeks before the actual podcast she couldn't keep her mouth shut and joined in a tweet reply chain with the TT guys coyly hinting at "teehee, [something] was really fun!", which lead to shit threads for weeks. But then again, that was only >here, the reaction outside of 4chan was 95% positive, so why would she care about this shithole's opinion (yeah yeah, she's >here, I know).
Ah well, whatever, it all doesn't matter, I just hope whatever collabs come to be will be fun.
