Well it wasn't a problem to have a male manager in hololive until Mel's manager began stalking her. Cover messed up badly when they moved the manager to another hololive talent where he continued to send threatening emails to Mel. It wasn't until her lawyer got the police involved that he was fired and they made changes to the company policy. Cover established a pattern of defending the manager so even in Japan they could get sued the next time it happens.
