I hated him before he was niji because he disrupted a few streams with his annoying attention whoring in holo chats.
He doesn't seem to be like that anymore and has finally found an audience just by being decent so I think he's actually pretty ok now.

He didn't pull 15k on a Karaoke, though. He pulled 12k (12.7k to be exact).
And his usual streams pull somewhere between few hundreds to less than 3k viewers, which - coupled with that unarchived karaoke number - depends on who you ask on /vt/, those can be between "not bad" to "shitty".

He's actually explained this before and he basically just wanted a change up and the ability to make new friends. He applied to nijisanji and they accepted him. He's genuinely a good dude who seems to get along with just about everyone.
