I think the levels in the original were about as hard; the difference is, your boy had much more incentive to get into it (it being on stream, chat cheering her on etc.) than a random playtester.
Anyway, speaking of ADD tendencies, I think it'd help the game feel more responsive if menu options/buttons would be selected upon clicking, as opposed to clicking-and-releasing as they are now. And if you could drag and drop the pieces on the field. But these are probably low-priority changes.
Anyway, levels 1-23 are definitely beatable and work fine, so great job so far!
