How much do you value kayfabe in your vtubers? The vast majority of them treat being a vtuber as just livestreaming with an avatar, and not actually playing a character.
Not saying there's anything wrong with that, but it also kind of feels like wasted potential when you have a character design that's trying to sell a particular theme, like say a demon or something, but the streamer doesn't play into it.
Would you rather vtubers be just normal livestreamers with virtual avatars, or actors playing a character?
