>>45761832> pretending to be a baseball newfag and spouting condescending shit> braindead statement to make even as a joke (people have died from getting hit by balls)> Gundou is a certified teacher, so concernfagging about her teaching kids with this mindset> A Korean guy once implied that they might try this strategy with a star player of Japan and got absolutely dunked on for it, they treat this like a sequel of that eventAll of it amplified by being right in the middle of probably the biggest baseball event which Japan won, so anyone standing out negatively during this gets 10x the hate.
In addition to this, Nijisanji has sponsorships with not just baseball video games, but actual Japanese Baseball leagues as well (central league).
This will have a lot of negative impressions on sponsors and Nijisanji brand thanks to the tweet going viral (due to the aforementioned factors).
It's obvious that Nijisanji could've left it well the fuck alone since the tweet just went into circles that it wasn't meant to go, but they had 3 different potential reasons to suspend her.
1. Baseball is their biggest yearly event so these people ARE actually their fans, even if they only watch once a year, so financial considerations are there to keep them satiated.
2. The tweet reached one of their baseball related sponsors and they reached out asking "what's going on here?"
3. Suspension notice implied she was being suspended for prior offenses as well, implying that they were looking for a chance to dump her ass and they think this is it.
Any one of these is a legit plausible reason for going ahead with the suspension.
