>>45906855Hololive has a gargantuan EN viewerbase by V-Tuber standards, but those viewers are practically holding up 4 branches by themselves: Stars, Tempus, HoloEN and HoloID.
Kaela got a lot of love at the end of last year because she streamed every day for long hours, at a time when HoloEN were all on hiatuses or ignoring their fans. Now that they're back, Kaela will suffer for it, because ID's domestic success is still nebulous at best. I think Cover know this, too, and are hesitant to release EN3 before their IPO goes live so that they don't have to deal with everything but HoloJP and HoloEN suddenly shrinking while they try to sell investors on future support for Tempus, who have members yet to get 100k subs after months, and ID who have 2/3 of their branch struggling to be 4-views despite like 10 million cumulative subscribers. IPO is the same reason Niji merged: it's easier to sell investors on overseas expansion with two successful branches than two successes and two failures.
