If you’re bullied in American schools you’re either ugly or annoying without realizing which with Mori gaining an ego rather quickly it was probably more annoying than ugly. Fighting back does help though. If you’re bullied in Japan the cause could be anything I mean literally anything for Miko probably her voice. Fighting back only helps if you win if you lose it’ll be twice as bad.
Getting bullied or being a bully usually makes people kinder afterwards

My oshi was under a lot of stress as a kid. Also, her family literally lied to CPS about the fact she got her skull bashed in with a laptop. She's mostly cool now though.

Many such cases!
I'm glad Mori realized the BS she went through was messed up. She laughed some of it off but overall knows that, yeah she was weird, but she didn't deserve the physical or emotional abuse.
She's a tough girl. College seemed to treat her a lot better. And give her the inspiration to go to Japan.

I'm not going to lie Mori went to college with some of my friends and did a play about going to Japan and being treated like a shit foreigner because she wanted to do J-Rap (no, I am not kidding, my friends told her it was a garbage play and she got mad)
But she turned out to be massively successful so I guess dreams do come true

No not many such cases. Gays are a rarity and this is a conditional rarity. More importantly i don’t think she went to Catholic school none of her high school stories are things that happen in catholic school unless it was from middle school then it that case it had no real bearing on her.

Miko went to an all girls school and some of her "friends" are gyaru. They bullied her because she's cute but at the same time it isn't really outright hurting her. More often she didn't even realize it was bullying because it's miko so she still hung out with them.
