I think its because Hololive really was the light at the end of the dark tunnel for her. It was full of misfits that really seemed to treat each other well in Japan.
I really respect her for persevering as long as she did, beyond performing at mostly empty venues, trying to make a living there seems brutally shitty. She would've been well within her rights for leaving earlier and never stepping foot back in that country.
