The thing is, to watch chuubas you have to be in the now. Watching past streams or things from years ago doesn't feel right and gets rid of half the fun of the hobby.
But even if today's anime is shit you can still go watch something fun from 1993 and have a good time.

Its your fault for switching to EN. JP is doing better than ever, with only the occasional hiccups.
Even if you refuse to go beyond Hololive, all but Lapu have a spotless record in gen 6 and I'm sure gen 7 will be just as good, whenever it comes out. Stop being a doomer EOP and watch streams instead of reading threads.

I agree with this. The golden age was when .Live was still a thing, Hololive 3rd gen had just debuted, and there were non-stop quality streams at all hours of the day.

Yeah. I think the Golden Age of vtubing died when EN1 debuted. That marked the point when egirls started becoming vtubers en masse and diluted the quality of the market considerably.

Now instead of Korones and Soras, we're getting Veibaes and Ksons.
