Youtube, besides offering virtually the same as twitch (and without conditionalities, I don't need to mention that non-affiliated channels don't have access to video qualities) has forms of creator-fan communication that twitch doesn't have; comments, community posts, membership posts, thumbnails, video descriptions. Plus a culture on the platform that is receptive to such communication.
I fail to see how exactly twitch is better, honestly. And that's about technical stuff. We could dive A LOT on the horrendous staff, the completely decorative rules and the numerous ways they came up with to keep squeezing every last bit of money and numbers from you.
YT is better by far, imo, in every metric but video quality
