Yeah, they outlined the reasons of the IPO already which is that and the investors to get their ROI.
Studio will be finished in 1-2 months I think, hololive is still transitioning from a small indie company to a legit corp (not really a good thing but better than yagoo being pressured by the VCs to sell the hololive to them). Collabs, merch,sponsorships and all that are better than ever. And they really haven’t made significant additions to hololive yet , 2023-2024 feels like it’s going to be their biggest year yet

You only need to have common sense to know that custom merch are more costly and difficult to produce than your run off the mill merch anon. One producer cannot simply make a backpack for one holo and make a sling bag for another. It requires more movement and resources. But yeah, voicepacks right?

There are 3 different reasons someone would watch a streamer, if they are entertaining, if they are good at a specific game, or both, and for the biggest streamers its the first one.
The second is the worse because your popularity is tied to the game, so if you play anything else or the game dies, so does you viewership
