Why does she have so much more subscribers than the rest of Holo EN?

She has almost twice as many subscribers (4.3 M) as the 2nd most popular Holo EN member, Mori Calliope (2.21 M). She even has considerably more subs than the most popular Holo JP member, Houshou Marine (2.35M). Why is this the case?

Many factors:
- English has a much broader reach than Japanese
- The HoloEN branch launched at an INCREDIBLY beneficial time for them. (Peak Covid when lockdowns were common)
- They were the first EN branch of Vtubers so there was hype there.
- Vtubers as a whole were on a massive popularity surge.
- She got meme status for her "A"
- She has the "cute loli model" which is a massive buff.
- She has the cute voice to go along with it.
- She was generally funny and entertaining in her first year (Hasn't been for some time now though)
- People pushed her to be the first Vtuber to reach 3M subs (They wanted someone to beat Kizuna Ai to it)
- She streamed at prime time for the US, which means more eyes on her.
- She's a fairly good singer
- She knows how to play people to get them to sub to her.

Impossible to fail at launch, but man have they been trying their hardest to tank themselves for the past year. It's sad that as EN viewers we get more value out of the ID branch speaking English than we do the EN branch and their absolute lack of any work ethic / consistency.

She got big early on because of her singing. I watched all the EN debuts and after I heard her sing Ride on Time that's when i picked her. I had no idea who she was before Hololive.
