>>4708060>Nobody wanted to watch a kid (Izuru)Don't idols get hired under 18 irl? How is this even an argument?
>Izuru should've been placed in INNK MusicI really like Izuru's music (I listened to his cover of Aishite for like the 4th time earlier, it's so good,) I think the guy is very talented and has a really unique voice that I haven't really heard from another singer, but he deserves to be in Holostars and I'm happy he is, I'm sure he's happy as well. It's an interesting point though, it could have been cool to see a male INNK member. Rikka feels like the male version of AZKi to me, both are very music oriented and have put out a lot of music content for Cover. Rikka again, like Izuru, deserves to be in Holostars and I'm happy they are, they're very talented.
>The first three (Miyabi, Izuru, and Kira) are only experimental, the next ones added will be the true HolostarsYou could apply that same logic to Hololive Gen 0 and very early talents lmao, and look where they are now. I'd imagine some of the most well respected and loved people in the company probably dealt with the same shit Holostars did very early on, and look where they are now. Even the girls with smaller channels like Mel and Akirose have dedicated fans who love them, (and rightfully so they're a lot of fun to watch,) so this is just a weird argument.
>Next debuts will save Holostars (Aruran and Suzaku)I feel like this argument is never going to go away, I hate the comparisons of Holostars to Hololive and for some people it might feel like Holostars is in the shadow of Hololive and needs saving when it absolutely doesn't, and I'm sure none of the members want to hear that either. Some people probably mean well but it's disrespectful to treat them that way imo.
>Holostars only appeals to virgins and gaysSee this is a weird one because while yes, the idea initially may have been to go for a female audience with them, I've never felt like they ever pandered excessively to any kind of audience, at least to me, they're just having a good time streaming and making music. Yeah there's the occasional bit of fanservice (Oga's abs in his New Years Outfit is a good example, I thought it was more funny then anything, even Iofi freaked out about it in chat which was funny too,) but again it's never excessive and it's in good fun. They feel more like bros then bait for any kind of audience and I really appreciate that (I'm saying this as someone who's bi, I like their designs a lot, but what makes me stay is the fact that I do really enjoy their music and streams, Roberu is my first membership and person I've given a Superchat too ever, during his 3D debut.)
>There's too much of a talent difference between Niji newcomers vs KiraI'm sure someone said this about early Hololive members when they were starting out, I don't see this as an argument. If you prefer one to the other that's fine but this doesn't prove anything.
