When they first started, all of them collabed with males up to 3rd gen, and once they saw how much money they could make by pleasuring unicorn ojisans, most of them never looked back even after collab ban was lifted. Now Hololive's policy is laid out in the open: every talent decides their own branding. Their whole group is idol-themed, but not all of them seek to become idol-like. In fact, I'd argue that maybe ~7 girls in Hololive could be considered idols while others are just streamers with occasional song releases.
Clearly, girls like Fubuki, Kronii, Ame, Mori and few others would earn more money if they never collabed with males, but at some point they've decided that having male collab options is more valuable to them as content creators than that extra money they'd earn from hardcore 'corns. You could argue that some of them would fit better in Nijisanji, but it was HoloJP management (or maybe Yagoo himself) who have decided to allow male collabs, so if you wanna blame someone for male collabs, blame them. I guess the only real "sin" you could accuse Kronii and Ame of is that how they've handled those collabs: staying silent for over a year about collab possibilities, passive-aggressive "improve yourself", backpedaling on your words and similar stuff, but that's about it.
Now that everyone knows Cover's policy going forward, I really don't see the reasoning why some anons would sperg over male collabs from "male collabers", or why some would try to force unicorn-friendly chuubas (e.g. Gura) to collab with males.
Content creators often change their content direction, so just accept the fact that some of them could start collabing with males few years down the line (or vice versa) out of their own volition. However, what you should not accept is lying about never planning to collab with males and then doing it. Being open about it is the key, and I expect HoloEN3 to clearly state their intentions during their first month, so Kronii-level shit storms could be avoided for everyone's benefit.
