>>46681097>wastes a good opportunity working for a large vtuber companyIt feels like I'm stuck in a time loop but NijiEN just really isn't the "good opportunity" that it once was. The branch just isn't growing, in fact it can be argued that the audience is shrinking over time looking at CCV. If you're a 2view it could look appealing since you'll get a song, a fancy model, maybe an opportunity to collab with your oshi or work in a huge network. Maybe you could even appear at a con and get a 3D model.
But if you're a 3view then the branch genuinely offers little of value. You have to deal with the inane bullshit that is game permissions due to being a Japanese company, you have to deal with the company taking a cut of your revenue on top of YT/Twitch for what is seemingly no added value since they're terrible at helping, merch is genuinely the definition of soulless factory produced shit just to please shareholders, you have to do your covers as quick as possible because management is incompetent with securing rights, and even then it's Manjisanji like JP. It's not even like NijiKR where the audience is split, a huge bulk of the people watching NijiEN are just female fans of the boys. If you're a girl then its hard to imagine there's opportunities for massive growth unless you have a dedicated fanbase or were there from the start.
