That's effectively what she's "married" to, kind of like a career woman. That sort of puts gachikoi at ease, because there's this sort of unwritten understanding that she's not going to betray their expectations that their support is going fully towards making her a star and that she's not just playing around with it.
Then there are beggars who just use Suisei as an example to shit on unicorns but they're retarded. Suisei is very careful and knows what she's doing, she doesn't disrespect gachikoi, but just makes it clear that she can't meet their expectations in a romantic sense, but that's an understood rule anyway for all talents, that none of them can give themselves to anyone in particular as idols. There's an understanding with her fanbase that she's not doing anything out of spite but also won't let anything get in her way of becoming a star.
I assume this collab is a result of the totsu where she talked to Roberu and mentioned that they hadn't talked once since their promo collab over a year ago. She did a lot of things to assure gachikoi/unicorns during that totsu actually, saying things like stars being on different servers, don't have their contact info, never talk to them etc.
