in my perspective there are a couple of reasons.
current vtuber culture, general hatred of males in the v space, most people in america just finding anime cringe or whatever. and then, of course, you have the actually successful males that we have right now who could fufill that role but are too caught up in squeezing out yumejo bucks. in any case, i think a major paradigm shift would be necessary but i dont think it is conceptually impossible.
