Also, her every stream with her EN genmates was plagued with technical problems because she doesn't prepare for them in any way.
And when you see her enjoying collabing with some random retard and enjoying it all of the above becomes blatantly clear. Calli is a trojan horse in EN, a liability, someone who shouldn't be there in the first place and obviously has no true connection with anything related to JP pop culture, vtubing included. She's just using Hololive as a stepping stone in the worst possible way. She is the quintessential western roastie.
Her EN genmates are doing their best, constantly trying to be better and in tune with their audience and are obviously a part of the overall culture. We tolerate little issues that arise from livestreaming because it's live, but they are obviously invested in Holo, in being a vtuber, and are happy that we are there just as we are happy to watch them. I have nothing but the utmost respect and approval for the EN girls - except Calli. Calli fucking hates her audience and I am baffled that they don't realize it. I watched about 6 hours of her solo content and she so obviously loathes them, what she's doing and the WHOLE CULTURE of vtubing and related tropes that come from anime and so on.
JP senpais have set the bar for his. They are hardworking girls who do their absolute best to entertain us. EN girls are trying to learn from them and see them as an objective standard. Calli doesn't give a single fuck about any of that.
