Anyways, I'm going to address some of the concerns without relying on the incel narrative.
Hololive and external individuals, streamers, or organizations are different.
This fact is where Calli's recent stream reaches the level of being a more or even a taboo. Think of Hololive and non-Hololive streamers as two separate groups with their own cultures. When two cultural groups interact, there is a diffusion of customs, values, etc. The larger, more popular culture often overtakes the smaller one. Just look at the reach of American culture in 3rd world countries or even Europe. Hololive is a weak cultural group, and opening the doors to external collabs will result in an irreversible shift of Hololive culture to be more conforming to the dominant culture (ie Western Twitch streamers). It's no illusion to any of us that VTubers are culturally 'weak.'
If you enjoy VTubers in their current form, you should try to protect them by being against external Hololive collabs.
People like Calli really should leave Hololive as she fits more into the mainstream culture.
