Holo ID got carried hard by Holo EN they did lots of collabs from the very start, which turned out ok because the ID girls were able to speak english.

The same is not the case in Nisanji, where those guys were shunned throughout Niji EN, and you don't see any collab with ID. The only ID member who was accepted by Niji EN is mika, who, to surprise speaks only english.

No, the real problem was Anycolor's management, or lack thereof. They did a terrible job hiring talent and promoting them in an equal manner. They abandoned the branch. They didn't take the slow and steady approach HoloID did with building up each gen before releasing another one.

Mika was smart enough to go to where the people and the money is: Europe and NA, also some SEA, and even SA helps a bit.
And speaks a bit of Indonesian in every stream but, of course, a lot less than in her first mounths.

And she's not a leech, she's one of the best livers in all of Nijisanji. She was showered in money yesterday, all alone.

Really 2 reasons:
1. Picrel threw all the chances of stardom away in a menhera fit.
2. No big JP to have their breakthrough moment a la PekoMoona with. Closest was Noraneko and Radjiman but Noraneko wasn't even big enough to uplift.

Even then it wouldn't work because Niji sucesses doesn't spread the same way hololive does, where Pekomoona eventually lead to moona gaining a dedicated fanbase of her own and that spreading to the other IDs. In Nijisanji you could be part of a tournament with over 200k viewers, and then the very next day you'll go right back to barely pushing 4views because nijifags just don't have that same culture

All the other ID members at the time of Hana's popularity spike still spoke Indonesian and took pride in their focus on their native fan base; Hana inclining in English would have had as much drip down effect as Bora did with the rest of KR when they were still primarily speaking Korean.
ID as a whole didn't want to be English streamers, it's why even after NijiEN (the second EN, we don't talk about the first one) debuted they continued to stream in Indonesian until the writing was on the wall that big changes were coming.

Moona sparked interest in the branch with her Pekora collabs
and once ID2 debuted they gained alot of EN fans because of of how good they spoke english in comparison with ID1

Mika joined this garbage to make a name for herself, even if this name was "mysta gf(?)" while the rest of ID including her genmates kept to their branch Indonesian irrelevance, bitch understood fast what she needed to grow:
