The "blood" looks like its dripping down from off screen. It also becomes the focus because of how odd it looks. It's like Fauna gets knocked over and someone is sprinkling hot sauce on her and she dies of surprise and cringe, plus it uses no special attributes that would make then attack a 'Towa special attack' and I don't think Kirins are capable of bleeding as they're not living organisms.
Flawed execution (ha) but good effort. Trying to make a few minutes of a fight scene might help. We used to do that all the time on Newgrounds and even had a Deathmatch claymation show for celebs.
